JCRC-LI is the central coordinating body and resource organization for the Jewish community across Long Island. It operates as a nexus between community-based organizations, religious institutions, elected and public officials, and the private sector, and works to open the lines of communication among these entities.
JCRC-LI works to ensure that the Jewish community has a voice among leaders of all segments of the community and will work with them to foster a spirit of collaboration and cooperation to benefit all of Long Island.
Long Island Jews face a plethora of issues and opportunities due to increasing diversification. It is crucial for the Jewish community to build upon existing relationships with leaders of established communities, while also reaching out to leaders of emerging communities.
